Retail Manager Role Overview

As a Retail Vehicle Sales Manager, you will be an integral member of the Management Team.Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Being a champion of every customer interaction; ensuring that every sales enquiry is dealt with appropriately by your team, and in a manner that  focusses on the Vindis Sales Experience.
  • Effectively managing the resources at your disposal to achieve there quired business objectives.
  • all data available, to make swift, decisive and effective decisions to guide the team appropriately and deliver the most appropriate outcome within your business area.
  • Maintaining a consultative and supporting working environment for employees within your business area.

Retail Manager Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Manage day-to-day retail operations, including stock control, merchandising, and store presentation.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Monitor financial performance and prepare reports to inform business decisions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favourable terms.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Recruit, train, and develop retail staff to build a capable and motivated team.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in retail management, preferably within the Automotive & Driving sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • Good understanding of stock management and merchandising principles.
  • Ability to analyse sales data and financial reports effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Proficient with retail management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Full UK driving licence is desirable.
